Monk Press Travel Mug

I love a good French press and at first I was a bit skeptical. Honestly though this thing has become my favorite mug! It's so practical, I take it with me everywhere!

I even bought my father in law one.

Here's what you should know.

It's seal tight, I've dropped it in my car and it hasn't leaked a bit.

It's sturdy, this thing can take a beating. It's amazing! The handle it a piece of steel bolted in haha.

I love the monk engraved emblem on it.

Capacity? It's not the largest BUT it's enough for me. It holds 2 cups of coffee after it's pressed. I don't fill it to the brim because it would leak slightly from the plunger site if you did this when pressing down.

You can also easily store enough coffee grounds in the seal tight container on the bottom for another 1-2 refills. Just grab some hot water from work, or a fast food place, or gas station and go.

It is absolutely worth it. The price is very very reasonable especially for the quality.

It is comfortable to carry with hand and the mouth design is good. I haven't figured out how to get my creamer in it after I pour in the hot water. I had to pour it in through the mouth piece.

I ordered the travel mug for a priest friend and the design was so well constructed I purchased myself one also.In all honesty without really reading a complete description and it being Christmas season my mind wasn't fully on the details of it being a functional french press.When I received the mug it was a pleasant surprise after brewing a mug. Easy, convenient, and great taste. I tried Jingle bell Java the first time mixed with a monk shot of Christmas blend and it was delicious! Stayed hot during my commute to mass and afterwards.
