      Wonderful coffee with great taste and flavor!! The blends are so good!!

      This was just an experimental bag of coffee for me, as it sounded delicious. It probably is--for a regular coffee drinker. I, however, drink pure espresso, so I just didn't get the same "kick" I usually enjoy. Also, I followed the instructions, using 2 TB per cup, which was way too much. It was better with just 1 TB, although it's possible the instructions are meant for whole-bean coffee that is ground just prior to making it. I had ordered it already ground. But all is not lost. I will probably order a nice-sounding flavored coffee from the monks. On weekends I treat myself to coffee made with 1/2 espresso grounds, 1/2 flavored grounds.

      I like medium roasts with soft flavor and coffees which aren't too acidic. This coffee fills the bill perfectly. I drink it black and I am glad I bought three bags just in case they run out. Love coffee from the monks!

      Rich and complex, the Colombian Popayan Honey is processed using the 'honey' processing method after harvesting, which leaves a little of the sweet coffee cherry pulp on the beans during the drying period before washing and final drying for export.

      The result of this high-grown Arabica is a delicious coffee with sweet notes of plum and peach, hints of lime, and a long, jasmine-toned finish.  Roasted to a medium-light roast level, the Popayan Honey is perhaps best enjoyed black, but is versatile enough to handle a dash of cream.
