Of our Sunday morning Church coffee rotation, midnight vigils is a crowd favorite-cowboy blend not far behind. For reference we serve some high end local roaster beans, starbucks beans, peets, and other choice beans. Midnight Vigils comes out on top every time. If you like a dark roast, youll love this smooth coffee!
Smooth eyeopener. Great taste & aroma when the beans are ground in our ceramic hand grinder for our French press. Worth the effort! Will order again.
I tried Mystic Monk decaf. I was a daily drinker of at least a pot of high test dark roast coffee daily. However, I am getting off my acid reflux meds and need to eliminate caffeine. I still wanted the dark rich flavor of coffee in the morning and this does the trick. Love it.
I generally consume dark roast (strong) coffee without flavor. Still, it is nice to dink a cup of decaf, flavored or otherwise, in the afternoon and I am happy to buy from Mystic Monk Coffee. This is finely ground coffee and my first brew in my Moccamaster was a bit too weak for my taste. However, I made sure to add more scoops to my taste and the results were great. This coffee has a wonderful bouquet and you definitely pick up notes of pecan, cream and rum. I definitely recommend.
I ordered this right away when it came out, and unfortunately for me, I ordered one bag. BIG MISTAKE. This coffee is fantastic. (My other favorite so far is the Burundi, which, if memory serves, comes out in December?) Yes, a honey coffee that is unflavored and delightful.
